Swan Global is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer Inspector for on-site supervision of mechanical works in residential developments. The role focuses on ensuring compliance with approved drawings, project standards, and authority regulations throughout construction, testing, and commissioning phases.

• 7–10 years of post-contract supervision experience in reputable consultancy firms.
• Strong background in residential developments (mid-rise / high-rise / compounds).
• Solid knowledge of mechanical systems including HVAC, chilled water systems, firefighting, plumbing, and drainage.
• Familiarity with local authority regulations and submission procedures (QCDD, Kahramaa, Ashghal, Civil Defense).
• Strong understanding of QCS, ASHRAE, NFPA, SMACNA, and other international codes and standards.
• Excellent reporting, documentation, and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct daily site inspections to verify MEP installations conform to approved drawings, specifications, and project standards.
• Review mechanical shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and inspection test plans prior to execution.
• Monitor construction activities related to HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and mechanical systems to ensure quality workmanship and schedule compliance.
• Issue NCRs, site observations, and follow-up actions where deviations or non-conformities are identified.
• Coordinate with the main contractor, subcontractors, and supervision teams to resolve technical challenges on-site.
• Verify mechanical system installation, commissioning, and testing in accordance with applicable codes and authority requirements.
• Attend technical, coordination, and progress meetings as required.
• Ensure all mechanical works are executed in accordance with QCS, international standards, and safety protocols.
• Prepare detailed site inspection reports, test results, snag lists, and final handover documentation.
• Support the project team during commissioning, testing, and handing over of mechanical systems.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 7–10 years of post-contract supervision experience in reputable consultancy firms.
• Strong background and proven project involvement in residential developments (mid-rise / high-rise / compounds).
• Solid knowledge of mechanical systems including HVAC, chilled water systems, firefighting, plumbing, and drainage.
• Familiarity with local authority regulations and submission procedures (QCDD, Kahramaa, Ashghal, Civil Defense).
• Strong understanding of QCS, ASHRAE, NFPA, SMACNA, and other international codes and standards.
• Excellent reporting, documentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple inspections concurrently.
• Professional registration, MMUP/UPDA certification is an advantage.
