Job summary

BIM Design LLC in Doha, Qatar is seeking a senior BIM MEP Coordinator to lead cross-discipline coordination on large-scale projects. You will drive BIM standards, manage clash detection, and deliver accurate shop drawings and as-built models in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have 6–10 years of BIM/MEP experience, strong Revit MEP/Navisworks skills, and familiarity with ACC BIM 360. Local Qatar project experience is a plus, with on-site duties in Doha.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services, Architecture, Construction Management or related field.
• 6–10 years BIM/MEP coordination experience on large-scale building projects.
• Hands-on experience with Revit MEP, Navisworks, and AutoCAD.
• Familiarity with ACC / BIM 360 or similar CDE platforms.
• Strong understanding of MEP systems, coordination, and construction documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead BIM coordination for HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, electrical and ELV systems.
• Coordinate MEP models with architectural and structural disciplines using Revit MEP and Navisworks.
• Perform clash detection, issue resolution and multidisciplinary coordination.
• Review and maintain BIM models, shop drawings and construction docs.
• Ensure compliance with BEP, ISO 19650, and project BIM standards.
• Prepare clash reports, coordination reports and model audits.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, subcontractors and site teams.
• Support BIM deliverables including coordinated shop drawings and as-built models.
• Lead coordination meetings and provide technical guidance to BIM teams.
• Ensure model quality, accuracy and timely delivery throughout the project.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering Electrical Engineering Building Services Engineering Architecture Construction Management or a related discipline
• 6 10 years of relevant BIM MEP coordination experience preferably on large-scale building infrastructure commercial hospitality healthcare stadium airport industrial or data-centre projects
• Strong hands-on experience with Autodesk Revit MEP Navisworks Manage and AutoCAD
• Experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud ACC BIM 360 or similar CDE platforms
• Strong understanding of MEP systems and construction methodologies
• Good knowledge of BIM coordination clash detection model management and construction documentation
• Knowledge of ISO 19650 BIM Execution Plans LOD MIDP TIDP and CDE workflows is highly desirable
• Qatar GCC project experience is preferred
• Knowledge of Qatar project requirements authority requirements and local construction practices is an advantage
• BIM Revit certification is an advantage
