Job summary

Four Seasons Doha is seeking a Maintenance Technician to uphold and repair hotel mechanical systems. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot pumps and HVAC equipment, and respond swiftly to breakdowns to ensure seamless guest experiences.

Ideal applicants have 2–3 years in hotel maintenance, hold a relevant technical qualification, and demonstrate strong teamwork and problem-solving skills. Shift flexibility and safety compliance are required.

Qualifications

• Requires reading, writing and oral proficiency in English; Arabic is an asset.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in maintenance or hotel/resort setting.
• Technical qualification or certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Maintenance, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Carry out preventive and preventive maintenance of hotel mechanical equipment and systems.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain pumps, motors, generators, kitchen equipment, laundry equipment, and other mechanical machinery.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and mechanical breakdowns throughout the hotel.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify potential faults and prevent equipment failures.
• Perform repairs, adjustments, and replacements of mechanical components as required.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and spare parts in good working condition.
• Ensure all maintenance work is completed safely and in accordance with hotel standards.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and report major faults to the Engineering Supervisor.
• Support the Engineering team with other maintenance tasks when required.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out preventive and preventive maintenance of hotel mechanical equipment and systems.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a Mechanic, preferably in a hotel, resort, or commercial property.
• Good knowledge of mechanical systems, pumps, motors, machinery, and basic HVAC equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical faults and carry out repairs effectively.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance and workplace safety procedures.
• Ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays when required.
• Good communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
• Requires reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language, Arabic is an asset
