Job summary

You will coordinate receipt, storage, movement, and issue of materials; monitor stock levels; perform SAP/ERP transactions; prepare status and shortage reports; and collaborate with procurement, stores, planning, and operations.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in material planning, material coordination, or procurement.
• Hands-on experience with SAP or other ERP systems.
• Exposure to material control in engineering or project environments preferred.
• Strong inventory control and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the receipt, storage, issue, and movement of materials for operations.
• Monitor material requirements and ensure timely availability per schedules.
• Maintain accurate inventory and material transaction records in SAP or ERP.
• Coordinate with procurement, stores, planning and operations on material needs and shortages.
• Track purchase orders, deliveries, pending materials, and stock availability.
• Verify material documentation, quantities, and inventory records.
• Prepare material status, shortage, consumption, and inventory reports for stakeholders.
• Support inventory control activities and minimize shortages and discrepancies.

We are Sisco Jobs, a recruitment consultancy based in Trichy, Tamil Nadu. We are hiring on behalf of our client for the position of Material Controller in Qatar. Our client is seeking skilled and motivated professionals with experience in material planning, coordination, procurement, and ERP-based material control. Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate the receipt, storage, issue, and movement of materials required for operational activities.
  
• Monitor material requirements and ensure timely availability according to project or production schedules.
  
• Maintain accurate inventory and material transaction records in SAP or the applicable ERP system.
  
• Coordinate with procurement, stores, planning, and operational teams regarding material requirements and shortages.
  
• Track purchase orders, deliveries, pending materials, and stock availability.
  
• Verify material documentation, quantities, identification details, and inventory records.
  
• Prepare material status, shortage, consumption, and inventory reports for relevant stakeholders.
  
• Support inventory control activities and help minimize shortages, excess stock, and material discrepancies.
  

Required Skills

• Material Planning: Ability to plan and monitor material requirements against operational needs.
  
• Material Coordination: Experience coordinating materials between procurement, stores, planning, and user departments.
  
• Procurement Support: Understanding of purchasing processes, purchase orders, delivery tracking, and supplier coordination.
  
• SAP / ERP: Hands-on experience using SAP or another ERP system for material and inventory transactions.
  
• Inventory Control: Ability to maintain accurate stock records and monitor material availability and movement.

Work Experience Requirements

Candidates must have 3 years of experience in material planning, material coordination, or procurement. Experience using SAP or another ERP system is required. Exposure to material control in an engineering or project-oriented environment would be advantageous.

Education

Minimum: ITI or Trade Apprenticeship / Higher Secondary Education

Preferred: Diploma in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field
