Job summary

Al-Futtaim Automotive in Doha is seeking a skilled Master Technician for commercial vehicles to perform inspection, diagnosis, maintenance and repair of trucks and buses, ensuring safety and quality standards are met. You will work with diagnostic tools, follow repair procedures, document work, and support the workshop team, with a focus on reliability, efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

Diploma, ITI, or technical qualification in Automobile Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Diesel Mechanics, or related discipline.
Hands-on experience in maintenance and repair of trucks, buses, or other heavy commercial vehicles.
Experience with diesel engines and commercial vehicle systems.
Strong knowledge of truck and bus mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems.

Responsibilities

Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance and general repairs on trucks and buses.
Inspect vehicles and diagnose mechanical, electrical, electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic faults.
Use diagnostic tools and workshop equipment to identify technical issues accurately.
Perform repairs on engines, transmissions, braking systems, steering, suspension, electrical systems, and other vehicle components.
Conduct vehicle inspections and road tests to confirm the quality of completed repairs.
