Job summary

Al-Futtaim Automotive seeks a skilled Technician to inspect, diagnose, maintain and repair commercial trucks and buses, following manufacturer standards and health and safety rules. The candidate will have hands-on experience with heavy vehicles, strong fault-finding skills, and a commitment to high first-time fix rates while supporting reliability and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• ITI, diploma or technical qualification in Automotive Engineering, Diesel Mechanics, Mechanical Engineering, Auto Electrical, or related discipline.
• Hands-on experience servicing and repairing commercial trucks, buses, or heavy vehicles.
• Knowledge of modern vehicle electronics and CAN bus systems is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled servicing, preventive maintenance, inspections and repairs on commercial trucks and buses.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical and electronic faults using diagnostic tools.
• Carry out repairs to engines, transmissions, braking systems, steering, suspension, electrical systems and other components.
