The Marketing Assistant provides administrative and coordination support for theplanning and execution of marketing activities across all company brands. The role isresponsible for coordinating marketing requests, supporting campaigns and promotionalactivities, liaising with internal departments and external suppliers, maintainingmarketing documentation and assets, monitoring project timelines, assisting withprocurement and budget administration, and ensuring all marketing materials complywith company brand standards and are delivered on schedule
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Coordination and Campaign Support
- Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of marketing campaigns,promotions, product launches, brand activations, and other marketing initiativesacross all company brands.
- Receive and review marketing requests, assign them to the appropriate internalteam member or external vendor, and coordinate with internal departments andext ernal stakeholders.
- Coordinate the production and distribution of marketing materials, including artwork, signage, printed materials, promotional items, point-of-sale (POS) materials, digital campaign assets, and other marketing collateral, liaising with internal teams, suppliers, agencies, and delivery partners to support successfulcampaign execution.
- Coordinate the scheduling and publication of marketing content across digitalplatforms, including social media, websites, and email marketing, in collaboration.with the relevant internal teams or external agencies.
- Maintain the marketing calendar and monitor project timelines, ensuring timelyapprovals, quotations, supplier deliverables, installations, campaign launches,and completion of all marketing activities according to schedule.
- Monitor supplier performance, service delivery, and project completion, escalating delays or issues where necessary.
- Identify potential risks or delays affecting marketing projects and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
Brand and Content Management
- Review all marketing materials prior to publication or distribution to ensurecompliance with company brand guidelines and that all content is accurate,complete, approved, and consistent across all marketing materials, digitalplatforms, and communications.
- Organize and maintain marketing assets and records, including artwork, photos,videos, content, copy, campaign materials, marketing project files, quotations, approvals, invoices, contracts, and supplier information, ensuring they areaccurate, up to date, and readily accessible.
- Support the implementation of brand standards across all customer touchpoints to ensure consistent brand identity and messaging.
Market Research and Performance Monitoring
- Conduct basic market research and competitor monitoring by tracking industrytrends, competitor campaigns, promotional activities, pricing, and customerinsights to support marketing initiatives.
- Assist in collecting, compiling, and maintaining marketing data, campaign results,customer engagement metrics, and promotional performance reports formanagement review.
- Assist in preparing reports on campaign performance, supplier performance,promotional activities, project status, budget utilization, and return on investment(ROI), where applicable.
- Prepare Purchase Requests (PRs) and Purchase Orders (POs), coordinateinvoice processing with the Finance Department, and maintain marketing-relatedcontracts, supplier agreements, and supporting documentation.
- Maintain records of marketing expenses and assist in monitoring the marketing
budget and expenditure.
Administrative Support
- Prepare periodic and ad hoc reports, presentations, meeting materials, andmarketing updates for Management.
- Coordinate meetings with internal departments, suppliers, agencies, and otherstakeholders when required.
- Perform other marketing coordination and administrative duties as assigned byManagement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in Marketing, Marketing Coordination, Administration, or a similar role.
- Basic knowledge of marketing principles, branding, campaign coordination, anddigital marketing.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
- Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design software is an advantage.
- Experience using social media platforms and content management tools is an advantage.
- Experience in the F&B, Retail, or Hospitality industry is preferred.
