Job summary

Madre Integrated Engineering is seeking a seasoned QC Supervisor for marine fabrication projects in Qatar. You will supervise inspection activities, coordinate with client and third-party inspectors, and ensure compliance with ITPs, drawings, WPS/PQR, and project quality requirements.

Candidates should have 7–10 years in marine QC, vessels or shipyard experience, and certifications such as CSWIP 3.1 / AWS-CWI / API preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7–10 years of QC experience, including supervisory experience in marine projects.
• Experience on vessels, barges, shipyards, ports, or marine fabrication projects.
• Strong knowledge of welding, structural fabrication, piping inspection, NDT, and quality documentation.
• Familiar with ITP, WPS/PQR, NCR, inspection reports, and applicable codes/standards.
• CSWIP 3.1 / AWS-CWI / API or equivalent certification preferred.
• Strong leadership, reporting, coordination, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all QC inspection activities for marine fabrication, welding, structural, and piping works.
• Ensure work complies with approved ITPs, drawings, specifications, WPS/PQR, and project quality requirements.
• Monitor welding, fabrication, fit-up, NDT, dimensional checks, and final inspections.
• Review inspection reports, NCRs, punch lists, test records, and quality documentation.
• Coordinate with client inspectors, third-party inspectors, supervisors, and project teams.
• Ensure quality issues are corrected and closed within the required timeline.
