Job summary

QatarEnergy LNG is seeking an experienced Maintenance Specialist to lead and support SAP-PM related activities, PM data creation and updates, and the deployment of maintenance optimization initiatives across LNG facilities.

The role requires 6 years in Oil & Gas with a focus on routine and shutdown planning, scheduling, and execution. Strong English communication, analytical skills, and proficiency with SAP PM, Meridium, and Primavera P6 are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or science majoring in Engineering.
• 6 years’ experience in Oil & Gas, preferably in maintenance planning, scheduling, and execution for Petrochemical or LNG facilities.

Responsibilities

• Implement Equipment Criticality/Classification data and Equipment Strategy tasks based on asset/engineering/maintenance feedback.
• Create and maintain preventive maintenance data; schedule PM and seasons leveling.
• Develop and manage functional locations and equipment data in SAP-PM; manage BOM assignments to equipment.
• Support analytical reporting and maintenance optimization initiatives for senior management.
• Provide PMCR support and generate reports using SAP and other desktop tools to aid reliability analysis and asset requirements.
• Support best practices across Maintenance, Reliability, and Integrity functions via information systems.
• Assist in evaluating new applications for Maintenance with IT and other departments as needed.
• Contribute to maintenance, reliability, and integrity philosophies and continuous improvement culture.

Job description

• Provide front line Asset support and implement Asset related activities pertaining to SAP-Plant Maintenance, Maintenance Dashboard, Controls statuses in accordance with established Company Policies and Procedures and Department Roadmap, Objectives and Targets.

Key Job Accountabilities - I

• Implement Equipment Criticality/Classification data and Equipment Strategy tasks/MWC based on Asset, Engineering and Maintenance Feedback.
• Implement Preventive Maintenance data creation, updates, changes and activities of Preventive Maintenance Scheduling and Seasons levelling.
• Develop, implement, and maintain functional locations, equipment related data in SAP-PM module including creation, modification/updating and deletion. Process Bill of Material ( BOM) assignment to each equipment’s.
• Support in developing analytical reports, benchmarking exercises to Maintenance senior management , as well as support the implementation of Maintenance optimization initiatives.
• Provide Maintenance support for effective processing of PMCR (Preventive Maintenance Change Request) and prepares reports using a variety of SAP and other desktop applications, to support Reliability Analysis, Business Continuity, Cross Assets reports, Failure Reports, and other Asset specific requirements.

Key Job Accountabilities - II

• Support the implementation of best practices for all Maintenance, Reliability, and Integrity functions, as delivered through various Information Systems.
• Provide Maintenance support for Asset Management solutions within Operations Group via SAP PM, Meridium APM, and other software to support Maintenance organization.
• Support the evaluation and selection of new applications for Maintenance department in coordination with IT and other departments as needed.
• Contribute to Company and affiliates Maintenance, Reliability and Integrity philosophies and Best Practices, and act as a change agent in creating awareness of and engraining continuous improvement culture and philosophy.
• Participate and provide support in different analysis and studies for efficiency and continuous improvements. Help manage roadmaps and strategic plans to ensure work continuous to improve intended value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or science majoring in Engineering in area of specialization.

Knowledge and/or Experience - I

• 6 years’ experience in the Oil & Gas industry or petrochemical industry preferably in activities associated with routine and shutdown resource planning, scheduling and execution in Petrochemical process or LNG facility.

Technical and Business Skills

• Proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Strong analytical, problem solving and report writing skills.
• Data analytics skills as well as utilization of Maintenance applications and software such as SAP Plant Maintenance, Meridium, Primavera P6.
• Computer literacy skills for all MS Office software.
