Job summary

The Chedi Katara is seeking a Spa Therapist to deliver high‑end spa treatments in a luxury setting on site in Doha. You will prepare treatment rooms, maintain hygiene standards, and promote wellness programs while ensuring accurate record keeping and guest satisfaction.

Applicants should hold international certification in massage/spa therapy or related fields, with at least two years of luxury spa experience and the ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Certification required in massage/spa/beauty/physical therapy or related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a luxury spa, wellness center, or hospitality environment
• Strong knowledge of spa treatments and guest care
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Professional appearance and grooming standards
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays

Responsibilities

• Deliver spa treatments and therapies per established standards and protocols
• Prepare, clean, and stock treatment rooms before and after each treatment
• Maintain hygiene, cleanliness, and presentation of spa facilities
• Complete treatment records and guest consultation forms accurately
• Promote spa services, treatments, retail products, and wellness programs
• Maintain and report on equipment and supply maintenance needs
• Support daily operations of Spa, Fitness Centre, Reception, and Retail areas
• Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and product knowledge
• Deliver personalized, professional guest experiences and consultations
• Handle guest requests and concerns promptly and professionally
• Maintain accurate guest history records and treatment preferences
• Build relationships to encourage repeat visits
• Maintain accurate treatment records, appointment schedules, and operational documentation
• Follow departmental policies and SOPs; participate in meetings and training
• Assist with inventory control and stock management of supplies and products
• Follow hotel spa health, safety, hygiene, and emergency procedures
• Ensure equipment is used safely and maintained
• Support cost-control initiatives through prudent use of products and supplies
• Charge and record services accurately per hotel procedures
• Foster positive relationships across departments
• Support The Chedi Katara's values and service philosophy
• Maintain professional grooming and appearance standards
• Participate in training and cross-exposure opportunities
• Attend all required meetings and trainings
• Remain cross-trained in Spa operations and services
• Carry out any other reasonable duties as assigned by management
