Job summary

GlowUp Kuwait in Umm-Said Qatar is seeking a Housekeeping Manager to lead the hotel’s housekeeping team and uphold high cleanliness standards. You will oversee daily operations, train staff, and ensure guest rooms and public areas meet luxury hotel requirements.

Responsibilities include inventory control, regular inspections, staff scheduling, and collaboration with other departments to handle guest requests and complaints efficiently.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Housekeeping Manager in a hotel or resort setting.
• Proven leadership skills to train, motivate and manage a team effectively.
• Excellent communication skills in English; knowledge of Indian languages is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Knowledge of cleaning products, techniques and equipment used in hospitality industry is preferred.
• Must be legally eligible to work in Umm-Said without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the housekeeping department.
• Train, supervise and motivate a team of housekeepers to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Monitor and maintain inventory levels for cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Ensure all rooms and public areas are cleaned according to hotel standards.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify areas for improvement and address any issues promptly.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth coordination for guest requests or complaints related to housekeeping services.
• Develop and implement procedures for efficient workflow and cost control measures.
• Conduct performance evaluations of housekeeping staff and provide feedback for improvement.
• Manage schedules, shift changes and vacation requests for housekeeping staff.
