Job summary

Ecojob invites applications for a Housekeeping Manager at our luxury hotel in Umm-Said, Qatar. The successful candidate will lead the housekeeping team, ensure top cleanliness standards, supervise staff, and coordinate with other departments to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Fluency in Malayalam (spoken and written) is required, with prior supervisory experience in housekeeping. Knowledge of cleaning techniques, handling guest requests, and flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a supervisory role within the housekeeping department.
• Fluency in Malayalam language (spoken and written).
• Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, chemicals, and equipment used in a hospitality setting.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
• Proven customer service experience with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, schedule, and supervise housekeeping staff
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to maintain cleanliness standards
• Develop and implement cleaning procedures and protocols in accordance with hotel policies
• Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
• Handle guest complaints or requests promptly and professionally
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction
• Maintain records of expenses, budgets, and staff performance evaluations
