Job summary

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience as a Housekeeping Manager or similar role.
• Excellent communication skills in English (knowledge of Arabic is a plus).
• Strong leadership with the ability to motivate a team.
• Proven experience in creating cleaning schedules and managing budgets.
• Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and hotel standards.
• Must be physically fit and able to perform housekeeping duties when necessary.
• Familiarity with computer software such as MS Office and hotel management systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement cleaning schedules to ensure all rooms and public areas are cleaned on time.
• Train new housekeeping staff on proper cleaning techniques and hotel standards.
• Monitor the performance of housekeeping staff and provide feedback when necessary.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness standards are being met.
• Order necessary supplies such as cleaning products, linens, and toiletries.
• Manage the department budget and ensure expenses are kept within budget limits.
• Maintain inventory of housekeeping supplies and equipment.
• Handle guest complaints or concerns related to housekeeping services.
• Work closely with other departments such as front desk, maintenance, and laundry to ensure smooth operations.
