Job Scope

The Logistics Officer is accountable for overseeing the inbound and outbound operations and inventory management. The officer maintains communication with carriers, suppliers, warehouses, customs brokers and others involved in the shipping and delivery of goods.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
  • Control the reception of merchandise to the warehouse and follow up on inventory levels and damaged goods if any.
  • Perform purchase transactions and share forwarder invoices with the finance team.
  • Manage outbound activities for customer orders.
  • Manage outbound shipments, follow up with clearing and forwarding agents and monitor the turnaround time (TAT).
  • Coordinate and arrange transportation of shipments to destination.
  • Track shipments and update customers in a timely basis.
  • Cooperate with the service and warehouse teams for smooth execution of shipments.
  • Coordinate with clearing agents and customs to maximize efficiency in terms of time and quality.
  • Verify customs documentation for exports and transfer of ownership.
  • Manage the stock movement through the warehouse management system and ERP.
  • Perform monthly stock audits.
  • Record timely transactions in ERP and CRM.
  • Coordinate with planning, finance, service and credit teams for invoicing customer orders.
Position Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or any other related field.
  • Experience: 3 to 5 years of relevant experience.
