Job summary

Qatar Aircraft Catering Company (QACC) seeks a Laundry Team Leader to ensure QR standards for flight linen packing and lead a productive team across QR and Amiri flights. You will prepare shift work plans, supervise packing tasks, maintain hygiene, and generate reports such as Material Requests and Linen stock levels.

The role requires 2+ years in laundry operations, knowledge of linen types, and proficiency with Microsoft Office; English communication is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Qualification / Vocational Qualification / Diploma or equivalent / Bachelor’s Degree.
• Minimum 2 year of relevant experience.
• Specialized knowledge of linen & textiles.
• Knowledge of linen products used in Airline industry.
• Basic Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Conversant with Laundry Department operations.
• Knowledge of GLP and linen packing.
• Communication on wireless radio operation.
• Good spoken and written English.

Responsibilities

• Allocate junior teams and provide work plans and instructions.
• Prepare shift work plans based on the Daily Working Schedule.
• Brief team on changes and requirements.
• Disseminate information to the team and up-line promptly.
• Ensure recycling of linen to minimize waste.
• Analyze linen stock and suggest quantities to request.
• Check arrival inventory and withdraw from backup stores.
• Support during aircraft/service changes and ensure timely delivery.
• Record handover sheets and data for standard uplift.
• Maintain highest quality linen packed and delivered to flights.
• Maintain hygiene to prevent FOB contamination.
