Job summary

Minor International's Banana Island Resort Doha By Anantara is seeking a Lifeguard to ensure guest safety in pool and beach areas. The role requires lifeguard certification and English communication skills.

The candidate should have 2–5 years of experience, a pleasing personality, and the ability to handle pressure and multi-task in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensures safety of guests and associates within the designated swimming areas during the posted business hours.
• Possesses Life Guard certification and authorized to conduct AR and CPR.
• Ensures set-up of safety equipment at the pool including life saving devices and posting of hours and pool depths.
• Responds to emergencies in hotel swimming areas and ensures rescue boat availability.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Ensures safety of guests and associates within the designated swimming areas during the posted business hours.
• Possesses Life Guard certification and authorized to conduct AR and CPR.
• Ensures set-up of safety equipment at the pool which includes set up of life saving floatation devices along the shoreline/around the pool; correct flag must be in placed during business hours; first aid kit; posting of business hours; depth of the pool; water & air temperatures.
• Responds to any emergency within the hotel, resort swimming areas including ensuring that rescue boat is available at all times.
• Performs other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
