Job summary

Banana Island Resort Doha By Anantara is seeking a professional lifeguard to ensure guest and staff safety in pool and beach areas. The role requires vigilance, teamwork, and a calm demeanor.

You must hold Lifeguard Certification, have 2–5 years of experience, and deliver clear English communication while maintaining pool safety equipment and quick response during emergencies. The ideal candidate remains composed under pressure, can multi-task, and presents a pleasant personality in a luxury

Qualifications

• Lifeguard Certification with 2–5 years of experience in the same field.
• Good English communication skills are required.
• Pleasant personality and professional conduct are expected.
• Ability to remain composed under pressure and multi-task during shifts.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety of guests and associates within designated swimming areas during posted hours.
• Respond to emergencies in and around pool and beach areas; coordinate with rescue equipment.
• Set up safety equipment (floatation devices, first aid supplies) and ensure correct safety signage and pool depth information.
• Maintain readiness of rescue boat and other safety resources at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned by hotel management.

Ensures safety of guests and associates within the designated swimming areas during the posted business hours.

Possesses Life Guard certification and authorized to conduct AR and CPR.

Ensures set-up of safety equipment at the pool which includes set up of life saving floatation devices along the shoreline/around the pool; correct flag must be in placed during business hours; first aid kit; posting of business hours; depth of the pool; water & air temperatures.

Responds to any emergency within the hotel, resort swimming areas including ensuring that rescue boat is available at all times.

Performs other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
