Job summary

Qatar Airways Group is seeking a senior aircraft maintenance professional to support the Lead Engineers in QE’s fleet operations. You will perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, manage inspections, and ensure adherence to QE standards and safety regulations, coordinating with QE Maintenance, CAMO and Engineering.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance or equivalent.
• ICAO type II / EASA Part 66 B1 / QCAA license holder.
• Minimum 5 years of job-related aircraft certifying experience.
• Current certifying authorization with an EASA or TCCA Part 145 organization.
• Experience with corporate jet type ratings; Qatar Executive preferred.
• Strong written and spoken English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance to support QE fleet operations.
• Lead, motivate and coordinate the maintenance team to meet QE standards.
• Determine materials, tooling and support required for tasks.
• Manage inspections and prioritise defect rectification.
• Coordinate pool personnel and ensure safe, compliant task execution.
• Release work to meet QE availability, reliability and deferred defect targets.
• Review procedures and implement improvements to work processes.
• Provide specialist support to QE Maintenance, CAMO and Engineering.
• Travel to aircraft locations on short notice for troubleshooting and rectification.
• Coach technicians and mechanics on the job; work with OEMs and vendors.
• Ensure timely delivery and upkeep of aircraft appearance and reliability.
