Job summary

Qatar Airways Group in Doha seeks a Licensed Aircraft Engineer, Level 2 – Engine Facility, to deliver off-wing engine maintenance, module removal/installations, borescope inspections, and engine storage to support timely operations.

You will perform engine/APU inspections, certify work, manage spare engine readiness, and ensure compliance with TPM/QCAA while maintaining high safety and maintenance standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 4+ years of experience.
• 2 engine type approvals or borescope approvals.
• 5+ years of related aircraft certifying experience.
• Borescope inspection and QEC/LRU build up experience on multiple engines.
• Ability to retrieve data from Technical Publications.
• Sound knowledge of air legislation.
• Tools and equipment selection for tasks.
• Proficient with MS Office and Adobe Acrobat.
• Familiarity with Airbus and Boeing Maintenance Manuals.

Responsibilities

• Exercising license/approval for scheduled and unscheduled BSIs.
• Advise supervisor of potential service disruptions affecting operations.
• Provide specialized knowledge to ensure safe, efficient operation.
• Perform engine/APU inspections, LRU build up and related tasks to meet targets.
• Maintain data integrity and update handover data per TPM and QR standards.
