Job summary

Gender seeks experienced Legal Specialists with a strong background in real estate to manage legal matters related to property transactions, contracts, compliance, and dispute resolution in Qatar. You will draft, review, and negotiate sale and purchase agreements, leases, MoUs, and contracts while ensuring compliance with local laws.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB), preferably an LLM, with at least five years of real estate experience and fluency in Arabic and English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB); Master’s Degree (LLM) is an advantage.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience in the real estate sector.
• Proven experience in handling property-related legal matters in Qatar or GCC region is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of contract law, property law, and regulatory frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of legal documents including sale and purchase agreements, lease agreements, MoUs, and contracts.
• Provide legal advice on real estate transactions, property development, and investment matters.
• Ensure compliance with local laws, regulations, and governmental requirements in Qatar.
• Liaise with government authorities, regulatory bodies, and external legal counsel when required.
• Conduct legal due diligence for property acquisitions, disposals, and development projects.
• Handle and support litigation, arbitration, and dispute resolution processes.
• Maintain proper documentation and ensure all legal records are up to date.
• Advise internal stakeholders on legal risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
