Job summary

Vodafone Qatar seeks a qualified legal professional to coordinate internal and external communications, review documentation for compliance with company standards and local laws, and provide timely legal advice to business leaders.

You will draft, negotiate and advise on critical business matters, monitor legal risks, and support regulatory submissions, with fluent English and Arabic and strong written and spoken communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in law or equivalent is required.
• Postgraduate degree preferred.
• 2–3 years of relevant corporate/commercial legal experience; telecom experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with internal teams to prepare communication drafts.
• Review legal documents for accuracy and local compliance.
• Provide legal support including drafting, negotiating, and advising on projects.
• Advise on legal aspects and draft related documents.
• Inform stakeholders of legal risks with suggested resolutions.
• Assist in evaluating submissions relating to key matters and regulation.
• Perform additional tasks assigned by the Line Manager.

Job description

• Coordinate with key internal as required preparing communication drafts inside and outside the company. Reviews the accuracy and alignment of legal documentation with Vodafone Qatar standards, polices aligned with local law.

• Review the legal documentations and provide legal research required for legal advice and support to both the business and the department Head in engagements with internal stakeholders regarding legal matters.

• Provide legal support, including coordinating drafting, negotiating, and advising on business-critical business operation projects

• Research and provide advise the business on all legal aspects and drafting any related legal documents.

• Advise stakeholders of legal risks and appropriate resolution strategy when customers' terms and conditions deviate from Vodafone Qatar's standard customer terms and conditions, in coordination with Legal director.

• Assist in supporting the evaluation and preparation of submissions relating to key matters and proposed legislation/regulation.

• Perform any additional project, task or activities assigned/delegated by the Line Manager.

• Bachelor’s degree in law or equivalent

• Postgraduate degree preferred

• 2 to 3 years of relevant quality corporate/commercial legal experience as part of a large corporate or private practice firm (telecom experience preferred)

• Legal specialist/ expertise as a core competence with fluency in both English and Arabic and an excellent written/ oral communication and interpersonal skills
