GHD is seeking a highly experienced Senior Transport Engineer to lead the design and planning of transport infrastructure projects in the GCC. You will mentor junior staff and deliver sustainable, compliant solutions for roads, interchanges, and urban mobility.

The role requires 8–10 years in transport engineering, strong knowledge of SIDRA, AIMSUN, and VISSIM, and a solid understanding of UAE transport authority requirements. Collaboration with ITC and clients is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Transport Engineering (Master's preferred).
• 8–10 years of transport engineering experience, GCC/UAE preferred.
• Proficiency in traffic modelling tools SIDRA, AIMSUN, VISSIM.
• Strong understanding of UAE transport authority requirements.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder engagement.

Responsabilités

• Lead the design and technical delivery of transport projects including roads and intersections.
• Conduct traffic impact assessments, transport modelling, and feasibility studies.
• Utilise SIDRA, AIMSUN, and VISSIM for network analysis and simulation.
• Ensure compliance with UAE regulations and international standards; collaborate with ITC.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team development.
• Prepare technical reports, design documentation, and stakeholder presentations.
• Support tender preparation and contribute to business development initiatives.
• Foster strong relationships with clients and transport authorities.
• Work within a multi-disciplinary team to deliver sustainable transport solutions.
