Job summary

DB Engineering & Consulting in Qatar seeks a Deputy Project Manager/Traffic Engineering Lead to oversee traffic engineering delivery for major transport projects. You will manage scheduling, resources, and client coordination while leading surveys, modelling, and data management activities.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, 10+ years of experience in traffic engineering or transport planning, and fluency in English and Arabic.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Traffic Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related discipline; Master's preferred.
• Strong leadership and delivery track record on large-scale transport projects.
• Experience with traffic surveys, network analysis, modelling, and KPI development.

Responsibilities

• Support the Project Manager in overall project leadership, delivery, scheduling, resource management, and client coordination.
• Lead traffic engineering activities, including surveys, data collection, network analysis, and operational assessments.
• Develop and apply transport models, forecasting tools, and performance monitoring frameworks.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across traffic engineering, transport planning, GIS, data science, and analytics.
• Ensure deliverables comply with MOT requirements and project standards.
