Job summary

WSP is seeking a Traffic Engineer to drive analysis, safety assessments, and traffic-management plans for major road projects in Qatar. You will coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and ensure high-quality deliverables that meet regulatory standards.

Ideal candidates bring 15+ years in traffic engineering, strong analytical skills, and proficiency with traffic-engineering software. You will lead technical guidance and support junior staff while advancing projects from concept to completion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Civil Engineering, Traffic Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 15 years' experience in traffic engineering or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of traffic analysis techniques and road safety principles.
• Proficiency in traffic engineering software and related tools.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects independently and communicate well.
• Familiarity with Qatar's local traffic regulations and standards.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and trends.
• Valid professional engineering license or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough traffic analyses and studies to understand patterns and trends.
