Job summary

Indo Arab is seeking an experienced QA/QC leader for a major mechanical project. The role focuses on developing and implementing comprehensive quality assurance plans, guiding a team of inspectors and engineers, and ensuring strict adherence to project specifications throughout the mechanical lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution.
• 12–15 years of progressive experience in QA/QC roles within the mechanical engineering sector, with at least 3 years in a leadership capacity.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent international certification is highly desirable.
• Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) or other relevant NDT/inspection certifications (e.g., ASNT Level II) is a significant advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive mechanical quality assurance and control plans ensuring adherence to project specifications and industry standards.
• Lead and mentor a team of QA QC inspectors and engineers fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement throughout the mechanical construction lifecycle.
• Conduct rigorous inspections and testing of mechanical equipment piping systems and structural components identifying and resolving non-conformities promptly.
• Review and approve mechanical engineering designs shop drawings and material submittals to guarantee compliance with quality requirements.
