Job summary

Qatar Airways is seeking an IFEC UX design program manager in Doha to lead UI/UX for inflight entertainment and connectivity across seatback screens and mobile apps. You will drive intuitive, visually consistent experiences and oversee cross‑functional design delivery with OEM partners.

The role focuses on strategic design leadership, usability testing, and ensuring alignment with global brand standards while advancing digital passenger experiences in a dynamic aviation environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in product design or UI/UX with 6+ years of experience.
• Experience with inflight entertainment or connectivity platforms preferred.
• Strong understanding of web/app UI/UX principles and accessibility.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Experience collaborating with OEMs and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead UI/UX design strategy for inflight entertainment and connectivity systems.
• Design and optimize interfaces for seatback screens and mobile apps.
• Develop user flows and navigation structures for passenger interactions.
• Ensure design consistency across digital platforms to brand standards.
• Evaluate new UI/UX technologies and integrate best practices.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external suppliers on deliverables.
• Plan and execute usability and performance testing strategies.
• Oversee customization of GUI systems across fleet platforms.
• Monitor design standards and ensure safety/usability compliance.
• Guide teams on safety, usability, and user-centric design.
