Job summary

V2X Inc in Qatar seeks a Driver Operator Lead to supervise a team responsible for loading, transporting, receiving, storing and inventory control of materials and merchandise. You will ensure safe and timely operations with Medium-Duty Trucks (5-13 tons), vans, pickups and forklifts.

The role requires English proficiency, a Qatar-issued Medium Truck license, and about 5 years of driving experience in industrial settings.

Qualifications

• Read, write and understand English.
• Minimum 5 years' experience operating vehicles and forklifts in an industrial or commercial environment.
• Two years' experience as a Medium or Heavy truck driver.
• Must hold a Qatar-issued Medium Truck license and a local driver's license for required vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team to accomplish tasks to standard.
• Load, transport and offload furniture, materials and equipment.
• Receive and maintain items in the Warehouse.
• Restock custodial and furnishing items.
• Manual labor as required (packing, unpacking, shelving).
• Receive, store, and sort unserviceable equipment and supplies for disposal.
• Move or transport materiel to other departments using Pallet Jack, Forklift or industrial truck.
• Performs other duties and assignments as required.
