Job summary

V2X Inc in Qatar seeks a Driver Operator Lead to supervise a team responsible for loading, transporting, receiving, storing and inventory control of materials and merchandise. You will ensure safe and timely operations with Medium-Duty Trucks (5-13 tons), vans, pickups and forklifts.

The role requires English proficiency, a Qatar-issued Medium Truck license, and about 5 years of driving experience in industrial settings.

Qualifications

• Read, write and understand English.
• Minimum 5 years' experience operating vehicles and forklifts in an industrial or commercial environment.
• Two years' experience as a Medium or Heavy truck driver.
• Must hold a Qatar-issued Medium Truck license and a local driver's license for required vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team to accomplish tasks to standard.
• Load, transport and offload furniture, materials and equipment.
• Receive and maintain items in the Warehouse.
• Restock custodial and furnishing items.
• Manual labor as required (packing, unpacking, shelving).
• Receive, store, and sort unserviceable equipment and supplies for disposal.
• Move or transport materiel to other departments using Pallet Jack, Forklift or industrial truck.
• Performs other duties and assignments as required.

Under the supervision of the Supply & Services Manager, the Driver Operator Lead supervises and leads a team responsible for loading and unloading, transporting, receiving, storing, and inventory control of materials and merchandise, ensuring safe, efficient, and timely operations. Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of Medium-Duty Trucks (5-13 tons), as well as vans, pickup trucks, and forklifts, in support of operational activities in Qatar.

Responsibilities
