Truck driver in Doha, Qatar

We are looking for an experienced and reliable Truck Driver to join our team in Doha. The ideal candidate should be able to operate a truck in a safe and efficient manner, as well as ensure all deliveries are made on time. The successful candidate should have experience operating both light and heavy-duty trucks, as well as a valid driver’s license. The Truck Driver must also have knowledge of the routes around Doha and the surrounding areas, and have excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspecting vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventive maintenance
• Planning routes based on delivery instructions
• Loading, securing, and unloading cargo
• Keeping up with vehicle maintenance such as cleaning, fueling, oil changes etc.
• Tracking deliveries
• Recording information such as mileage and fuel usage
• Following all applicable traffic laws and safety regulations
• Ensuring cargo is properly secured to prevent damage or shifting during transit

Qualifications / Requirements

• Previous experience with driving trucks both light duty and heavy duty (minimum 1 year)
• Valid driver’s license with no serious violations in the past 5 years
• Ability to lift 75 lbs or more
