Job summary

Workato in Doha, Qatar is seeking an experienced Truck Driver to join our team. You will be responsible for transporting goods and materials in a safe and efficient manner.

The role requires a minimum of 2 years’ truck driving experience, knowledge of local driving rules, and a commitment to safety during loading and unloading operations. A high school diploma is required; a commercial license is preferred but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Commercial license preferred but not required.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience driving trucks or related experience.
• Knowledge of driving rules and local roads.
• Safety procedures for loading/unloading goods in vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Operate trucks to transport goods and materials to designated destinations.
• Follow safety regulations and maintain a clean driving record.
• Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform preventative maintenance when necessary.
• Load and unload cargo correctly considering size, weight and balance.
• Follow delivery instructions and maintain logs of working hours and vehicle service records.
• Communicate with customers professionally to ensure satisfaction.
