Job summary

St. Regis Hotels & Resorts in Doha West Bay is seeking a Hotel Laundry Technician to support our housekeeping team. You will maintain records, verify laundry requests, replenish supplies, and monitor chemical levels to ensure safe, effective operation.

You will operate washers and dryers, identify stained items, advise on repairs or disposal, and assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, and coaching. The role requires professionalism, adherence to safety policies, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of related work experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• No license or certification required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records of items laundered.
• Verify laundry requests are completed for each department.
• Replenish laundry supplies.
• Monitor chemical container levels and report issues.
• Operate washing, dry cleaning, and drying machinery with proper chemical handling.
• Identify stained or damaged items and determine status for repair, spot treatment, rewash, or discard.
• Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, and motivating staff.
• Follow safety and security policies and protect company assets.
• Maintain professional appearance and develop positive working relationships.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards; inspect equipment and work areas.
• Perform other duties as requested by Supervisors.
