Job summary

ALI BIN ALI is seeking an production line operator in Doha to manage labeling machines, ensure quality, and maintain equipment per SOPs. You will work within a multi-tasking team, upholding safety standards and documenting downtimes and parameters.

The role requires at least 2 years of labeling experience in a high-speed bottling environment, with English proficiency and preferred knowledge of additional languages. Diploma in business or manufacturing is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience handling a labeling machine in a high-speed bottling company.
• Experience with production processes; training/certification is advantageous.
• English required; Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam or Arabic preferred.

Responsibilities

• Start up and shut down equipment per Standard Operating Procedures.
• Operate and maintain line equipment as part of multi-tasking.
• Ensure quality product and escalate deviations to production team leader.

Job description

• Responsible for proper start up and shut down, as per laid Standard Operating Procedures for the Equipment.
  
• Operate and maintain other Equipment as a part of Multi-Tasking.
  
• Ensure quality product. Any deviations should be escalated to production team leader.
  
• Follow all safety requirements when performing work.
  
• Responsible to ensure minimal unplanned stops.
  
• Correctly fill out all documents related operating parameters and downtimes.
  
• Accurately and efficiently perform steps necessary to conduct flavor/package changes and proper shut-downs to minimize down-time wasted resources.
  
• Perform best practices in quality checks on line and equipment.
  
• Set up machinery and ensure all production materials are available.
  
• Monitor line for defective materials and perform any other related work in accordance with line quality.
  
• Responsible to clean and sanitize all equipment and facility as required.
  
• Responsible to complete operation checks on equipment.
  
• Responsible to follow all standard operating procedures to operate equipment efficiently.
  
• Coordinates with Quality Assurance department to maintain high quality standards on all raw and finished goods.
  
• Take part in Pepsi International (PI) governed audits.
  
• Performs other duties as assigned.
  
• To be a part of Continuous Improvement plans like TPM, M&W (Manufacturing & Warehouse) etc., while being rolled out.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience handling a labeling machine in a high speed bottling company
  
• Good working knowledge of production (training and certification course) & minor maintenance would be advantageous.
  
• Language proficiency (English is a must, and additionally Hindi / Tamil / Malayalam / Arabic would be preferred)
  
• A diploma in business / supply chain / production/ manufacturing related would be preferred.
