Byron Recruitment is seeking a caring, attentive, and experienced Early Years Foundation Stage Teacher to support the learning, development, and well‑being of young children in a nurturing early years environment in Doha, Qatar. This role is ideal for an educator who is passionate about infant care and early childhood development, and who can create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom where children feel secure and supported.
The Teacher will play a key role in building strong daily routines, encouraging developmental milestones, and fostering positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
Provide high-quality care and education for infants in a safe, warm, and engaging environment
Plan and deliver age‑appropriate activities that support physical, emotional, social, sensory, and cognitive development
Observe, monitor, and document each child’s progress, routines, and developmental milestones
Maintain consistent daily schedules, including feeding, sleeping, toileting, and play routines
Ensure the classroom is clean, organized, and set up with suitable resources for infant learning and exploration
Support children’s early communication, curiosity, and confidence through responsive interactions and play‑based learning
Build trusting and positive relationships with parents and guardians through regular communication and feedback
Follow safeguarding, health, safety, and hygiene procedures at all times
Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and other staff to support the needs of each child
Contribute to a positive team culture and participate in staff meetings, training, and school activities
Promote an inclusive environment that respects each child’s individual needs, background, and stage of development
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Education, or a related field
Previous experience working with infants or in an early years classroom
Strong understanding of infant development and age‑appropriate teaching and care practices
Ability to create a nurturing, structured, and stimulating learning environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Patient, attentive, and compassionate approach to working with young children
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Good organizational skills and attention to detail
Commitment to child safeguarding, health, safety, and well‑being
Professional attitude and appearance
Experience working in an international school or nursery setting
Knowledge of early years curricula or child‑centered learning approaches
