Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Education, or a related field.

  • Ability to create a nurturing, structured, and stimulating learning environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality care and education for infants in a safe, warm and engaging environment.
  • Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities that support physical, emotional, social, sensory and cognitive development.
  • Observe, monitor and document each child's progress, routines and developmental milestones.
  • Maintain consistent daily schedules including feeding, sleeping, toileting and play routines.
  • Ensure the classroom is clean, organized and set up with suitable resources for infant learning and exploration.
  • Support children's early communication, curiosity and confidence through responsive interactions and play-based learning.
  • Build trusting and positive relationships with parents and guardians through regular communication and feedback.
  • Follow safeguarding, health, safety and hygiene procedures at all times.
  • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and other staff to support the needs of each child.
  • Contribute to a positive team culture and participate in staff meetings, training and school activities.
  • Promote an inclusive environment that respects each child's individual needs, background and stage of development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality care and education for infants in a safe warm and engaging environment
