Byron Recruitment is seeking a caring, attentive and experienced Early Years Foundation Stage Teacher to support the learning, development and well-being of young children in a nurturing environment in Doha, Qatar.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Education, or a related field.
• Previous experience working with infants or in an early years classroom.
• Strong understanding of infant development and age-appropriate teaching and care practices.
• Ability to create a nurturing, structured, and stimulating learning environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patient, attentive, and compassionate approach to working with young children.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Commitment to child safeguarding, health, safety, and well-being.
• Professional attitude and appearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care and education for infants in a safe, warm and engaging environment.
• Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities that support physical, emotional, social, sensory and cognitive development.
• Observe, monitor and document each child's progress, routines and developmental milestones.
• Maintain consistent daily schedules including feeding, sleeping, toileting and play routines.
• Ensure the classroom is clean, organized and set up with suitable resources for infant learning and exploration.
• Support children's early communication, curiosity and confidence through responsive interactions and play-based learning.
• Build trusting and positive relationships with parents and guardians through regular communication and feedback.
• Follow safeguarding, health, safety and hygiene procedures at all times.
• Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and other staff to support the needs of each child.
• Contribute to a positive team culture and participate in staff meetings, training and school activities.
• Promote an inclusive environment that respects each child's individual needs, background and stage of development.
