Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in sales and/or procurement within oil and gas.
• Knowledge of piping materials, valves, fittings, flanges and related products.
• Experience preparing quotations, RFQs, purchase orders, and supplier comparison sheets.
• Based in Qatar; GCC market experience preferred.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficient in MS Office.

We are seeking a Junior Sales Procurement Engineer to support the sales and procurement of oil and gas materials and equipment particularly piping materials valves fittings flanges and related products The candidate will assist in developing business opportunities preparing quotations sourcing materials coordinating with suppliers and clients and ensuring timely delivery of quality products at competitive prices Support sales activities for oil and gas piping materials valves fittings flanges and related equipment Identify potential clients and business opportunities in Qatar and the GCC market Assist in preparing technical and commercial quotations proposals and tender documents Follow up with clients regarding enquiries quotations orders and ongoing requirements Attend client meetings and participate in marketing and business-development activities Build and maintain professional relationships with existing and potential clients Review client enquiries material requisitions specifications and datasheets Source suitable materials and equipment from approved local and international suppliers Prepare and issue RFQs to suppliers and obtain competitive quotations Compare suppliers technical and commercial offers and prepare bid comparison sheets Negotiate prices delivery schedules payment terms and other commercial conditions under management guidance Coordinate with suppliers logistics teams and clients to ensure timely order processing and delivery Maintain accurate records of enquiries quotations purchase orders supplier information and client communications Monitor market trends competitor activities pricing and product availability Ensure that supplied materials meet client specifications applicable industry standards and quality requirements Provide regular sales and procurement updates to management Perform other sales procurement and coordination duties assigned by management

Qualifications / Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in sales and/or procurement within the oil and gas industry.
• Practical knowledge of piping materials, valves, fittings, flanges, and related oil and gas products.
• Previous experience in the Qatar or GCC oil and gas market is strongly preferred.
• Basic understanding of technical specifications, material grades, and applicable oil and gas industry standards.
• Experience in preparing quotations, RFQs, purchase orders, and commercial comparison sheets.
• Good communication, negotiation, presentation, and customer-service skills.
• Strong follow-up, coordination, and organizational abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid Qatar driving licence is an advantage.
• Local hire only. Candidates must currently be available in Qatar.
