Job summary

Power International Holding (PIH) is seeking a Commis I to support kitchen operations at our Qatar facility. You will assist in food preparation, maintain kitchen cleanliness, and work under the supervision of senior chefs to ensure quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow recipes and maintain consistent quality.
• Willingness to learn, work under supervision, and collaborate with the kitchen team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in food preparation tasks, such as chopping vegetables and portioning meats.
• Execute simple cooking tasks under supervision of senior chefs (grilling, frying, sautéing, baking).
• Follow recipes and instructions to ensure consistency and quality in food preparation.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in work areas and equipment.
• Assist in stock rotation and inventory management to ensure freshness and minimize waste.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines to prevent cross-contamination.
• Ensure all ingredients and equipment are ready for cooking.
• Assist in plating and garnishing dishes to meet presentation standards.
