IHG Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Commis I for our luxury Doha hotel. You will support daily food preparation, work under the Chef de Partie, and ensure hygienic operations and adherence to menu specifications.

Ideal candidates have luxury hotel experience, strong English and Arabic skills, and a proactive, organized approach to cost control and teamwork. This role offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

Experience in a luxury hotel environment and understanding of luxury service standards.
Experience or exposure to learning and development methods is preferred.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and diverse work environment.
Strong interpersonal skills with excellent written and spoken English & Arabic.
Additional language is a plus for guest interactions.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Result-oriented, self-motivated with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

Support Chef de Partie or Demi Chef de Partie in daily operation.
Follow menu specifications provided by the Chef de Partie.
Maintain hygienic work area according to hotel rules.
Control food stock and costs in your section.
Prepare daily mise-en-place and food production for main kitchen or satellites.
Follow superior instructions to complete tasks.
Ensure high standards and keep up-to-date with products, recipes and techniques.
Coordinate with other sections to manage cleanliness, waste and cost control.
