IVE Support Engineer

Job summary

Mowasalat is seeking personnel to respond to IVE incident related calls and emails, record incidents (including RFCs) and provide progress updates to customers and the IT group. The role includes managing ITIL process communications, FAQs, and incident lifecycle activities such as classification, prioritisation, escalation, and resolution.

The candidate will evaluate IVE solutions and oversee testing and commissioning activities.

Qualifications

• University degree required in IT or Electronics & Communication.
• Minimum three years of work experience in a similar role.
• Excellent communication, problem solving, coaching and mentoring skills.
• Good personal planning and time management and strong reporting/presentation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Receive and respond to calls and emails on IVE incidents.
• Record incidents (including RFCs) and search for workarounds.
• Update the customer and IT group on progress; communicate for ITIL processes.
• Manage FAQs, incident classification, prioritisation and escalation; resolve incidents.
• Evaluate and recommend IVE solutions; perform IVE testing and commissioning.
