The IT Systems Engineer is responsible for the administration, maintenance, and support of the company's IT infrastructure, enterprise applications, SAP environment, and network systems. The role also provides basic technical support for IP-based CCTV and security systems, working closely with specialized vendors when required. The successful candidate will ensure the reliability, security, and availability of all IT systems while supporting business operations and digital transformation initiatives.
A valid UPDA Certificate is mandatory.
Provide first-line technical support for SAP systems (SAP Business One, SAP ERP, or SAP S/4HANA).
Coordinate with SAP consultants and vendors to troubleshoot issues, perform upgrades, and implement enhancements.
Assist users with SAP-related technical issues and system access.
Monitor SAP system performance and recommend improvements.
Provide Level 2/Level 3 technical support for hardware, software, printers, and enterprise applications.
Diagnose and resolve network, server, and desktop issues.
Support end users with software installations and troubleshooting.
Possess basic knowledge of IP-based CCTV systems and related network infrastructure.
Assist in the installation, configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting of CCTV systems.
Coordinate with external vendors for CCTV maintenance, upgrades, and preventive maintenance.
Support basic operation of Network Video Recorders (NVRs), IP cameras, and Video Management Systems (VMS).
Ensure CCTV connectivity across the company's network infrastructure.
Implement cybersecurity best practices to protect company systems.
Monitor antivirus, endpoint security, and firewall performance.
Manage user access rights and system permissions.
Participate in IT infrastructure, SAP, and digital transformation projects.
Coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders during project implementation.
Maintain accurate documentation for systems, configurations, licenses, and procedures.
Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
Valid UPDA Certificate is mandatory.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in IT infrastructure and systems administration.
Hands‑on experience supporting SAP Business One, SAP ERP, or SAP S/4HANA.
Basic knowledge of IP CCTV systems and security technologies.
Experience with Microsoft Windows Server and Microsoft 365 administration.
Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking and enterprise IT infrastructure.
Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Valid Qatar Driving License is an advantage.
