Detailed Job Description:

As an IT Project Manager – Information Security at Workwavez in Doha, Qatar, you will take full ownership of managing multiple concurrent IT and cybersecurity initiatives in strict accordance with gated project management methodologies. Your day-to-day responsibilities encompass developing comprehensive project plans, maintaining accurate schedules, controlling budgets and financial forecasts, and managing risks, issues, and interdependencies. You will lead cross-functional project resources and external vendors, coordinate testing, training, and operational rollouts, and ensure quality delivery on time and on budget. Working in a fast-paced environment, you will prepare executive reporting dashboards and drive governance across all project phases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage multiple concurrent IT and Information Security projects from initiation through successful closure.
• Maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, documentation, and technical deliverables.
• Control project budgets, cost forecasts, and financial allocations up to approved project ceilings.
• Manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and mitigation strategies proactively.
• Coordinate testing, user training, pilot rollouts, and final production deployments.
• Lead cross-functional project resources, IT engineering squads, external vendors, and technical consultants.
• Ensure on-time, on-budget, and high-quality delivery across all assigned technology initiatives.
• Facilitate executive stakeholder engagement, steering committee reviews, and status reporting.
• Enforce gated project management methodologies and PMI/PMBOK knowledge areas across project lifecycles.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 7 years of post-degree professional experience within the IT or related technology industry.
• At least 5 years of dedicated professional experience as an IT Project Manager in a similar enterprise organization.
• Proven successful delivery of at least 2 end-to-end IT projects valued at USD 500K+ each.
• Strong, practical knowledge of PMI/PMBOK knowledge areas and gated project management methodologies.
• Hands‑on experience with project planning, scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, and risk/issue management.
• Proven experience managing business stakeholders, IT engineering teams, vendors, and external consultants.
• Proficiency with enterprise project management tools including MS Project / EPM.
• Professional availability for full‑time onsite deployment in Doha, Qatar.
