Job summary

KnowlegeBridge in Al-Khor, Qatar is looking for an experienced Instrument Technician to install, maintain, and repair instrumentation and control systems across industrial facilities. The role is full-time and on-site, with a competitive monthly salary and benefits.

You will perform calibration, troubleshooting, and routine maintenance, read technical manuals and schematics, and collaborate with engineers to solve complex instrument issues while following safety protocols.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of experience as Instrument Technician in an industrial setting.
Familiarity with instrumentation including pressure gauges, flow meters, temperature sensors.
Ability to read technical manuals and schematics.
Strong troubleshooting skills.
Physically fit to work in heat, cold and confined spaces.
Attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

Install new instruments according to project specifications.
Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning instruments and control systems.
Perform routine maintenance on instruments to ensure proper functioning.
Calibrate instruments to maintain accuracy.
Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to identify and solve complex instrument issues.
Keep accurate records of all work performed.
Follow safety protocols at all times.
