Job summary

PrimeDefense USA in Doha is seeking an experienced Instrument Technician to install, maintain, and repair a range of instruments used in industrial processes. The role requires strong electrical/mechanical knowledge, troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent vocational training or certification in instrumentation technology is preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working as an Instrument Technician in an industrial setting.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems including wiring diagrams and schematics.
• Proficiency with various types of testing equipment such as multimeters and oscilloscopes.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to identify issues quickly.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Install new equipment and instruments according to specifications and industry standards.
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on existing instruments to ensure proper functioning.
• Troubleshoot instrument issues and perform repairs.
• Calibrate instruments to maintain accuracy.

Position Overview

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Instrument Technician to join our team in Doha As an Instrument Technician you will be responsible for installing maintaining and repairing various types of instruments used in industrial processes and equipment The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems good troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently

Key Responsibilities

• Install new equipment and instruments according to specifications and industry standards
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on existing instruments to ensure proper functioning
• Troubleshoot any issues with instruments or equipment and make necessary repairs
• Calibrate instruments as needed to maintain accuracy
• Document all work performed including repairs maintenance and calibration activities
• Collaborate with other team members to improve processes and procedures related to instrument maintenance
• Keep up-to-date with industry developments and best practices related to instrument technology

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent vocational training or certification in instrumentation technology is preferred

Salary

The salary for this position is $1600 per month
