Instrument Technician - Doha, Qatar

We are seeking an experienced Instrument Technician to join our team in Doha, Qatar. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various instruments and equipment used in industrial processes. You will work on a wide range of electrical, electronic and pneumatic instruments to ensure their proper functioning. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail and the ability to work well under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and calibration of instruments used in industrial processes.
• Troubleshoot and repair any malfunctions or breakdowns in equipment.
• Install new instruments as needed.
• Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to perform complex repairs.
• Keep detailed records of maintenance and repairs performed.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with industry standards.

Requirements

• Technical diploma or equivalent qualification in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering.
• Minimum of 3 years experience working as an Instrument Technician.
• Excellent knowledge of electrical, electronic and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read technical drawings and schematics.
• Proficient in using various testing equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, etc.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
