Job summary

Ernst & Young AE is seeking a senior infrastructure advisory professional to advise clients on strategies for large-scale infrastructure programs. You will support feasibility, funding structuring, and closing financings, while contributing to contract negotiations and project management for complex procurements.

You will mentor junior staff and drive innovation across portfolio management, with fluency in Arabic highly desirable.

Qualifications

• 6-8+ years of direct experience on large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Experience in a top-tier advisory firm, infrastructure service provider, developer, bank, or relevant government agency.
• Experience in structuring and financing transactions and/or procurements, and knowledge of commercial project documents.
• Proficiency in Arabic (written and spoken) is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist in feasibility analyses, structuring funding, and closing financing for projects.
• Support contract negotiations and project management for procurements.

Key responsibilities

You will be advising clients in the development and implementation of strategies to advance large-scale infrastructure and other projects You will play a key role advising on the feasibility structuring funding and closing of financing for infrastructure projects and or procurements including contract negotiation and project management You will be required to demonstrate a deep understanding of capital project program funding financing and delivery mechanisms at the local state and national levels to support analysis of client projects and provide project and program management assistance to clients and project teams on large projects Developing and mentoring junior team members will also be a key part of your role Priority focus areas include Renewables Water Rail amp Road Logistics Urban Infrastructure Sports amp Events

Skills and attributes for success

You will need strong knowledge of public-private partnerships PPP concessions acquisitions and project financing structures A solid understanding of project financial modeling financing markets and the procurement and delivery of economic or social infrastructure is highly valued Candidates with deep industry sector experience and a proven track record in developing value frameworks ensuring strategic investment across asset classes enhancements renewals maintenance and operations will excel in this position Experience in leading innovation programs that drive the adoption of advanced tools optimized processes and agile strategies for portfolio asset management is also highly desirable

Qualification & Experience

A professional qualification (MBA and/or CFA) is preferred; an engineering qualification would be an advantage Directly relevant work experience on large scale infra projects of 6-8+ years, with experience on large-scale infra projects Experience in a top-tier advisory firm, infrastructure service provider, developer, bank, relevant government agency or other relevant sector experience Experience in structuring and financing transactions and/or procurements and the commercial aspects of relevant project documents Ideally, you ll also have: Have MBA or Masters degree. Have excellent problem solving, project management and interpersonal skills. Have quantitative analytical capabilities and financial modelling experience. Be fluent in Arabic, both written and spoken.
