Job summary

Vistas Global in Doha, Qatar is seeking an experienced IT professional with a Bachelor's in CS and over 8 years in designing, developing, installing, configuring, and updating banking systems. The ideal candidate is bilingual Arabic and English, familiar with Java, .Net/C#, web apps, HTML/JS/JQuery, SQL Server/Oracle/Sybase, middleware MQ, and system integration.

You will liaise with stakeholders, work under pressure, and deliver across the full lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or equivalent.
• 8+ years IT experience; 3-5 years in design/development/installation/configuration/support.
• Banking sector experience preferred.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.

Experience:

• Minimum 8 years relevant IT experience and at least 3-5 years experience designing, developing, installing, configuring, and updating systems and applications.
• Experience in the banking sector is preferred.

Job-Specific Skills (Generic / Technical):

• Bilingual: Arabic and English.
• Knowledge and experience of the full development lifecycle for IT projects including Analysis, Design, Development, Testing, Implementation and Documentation of banking applications.
• Technical competencies should include:

Java, .Net with C# knowledge.

Web Applications/ Web Services.

HTML, JavaScript, JQuery

SQL Server / Oracle / Sybase

• Extensive hands-on experience in developing interfaces
• Expert Knowledge in middleware (MQ)
• Knowledge of the banking sector in Qatar and the region. (preferred)
• Knowledge of latest IT developments and trends.
• Knowledge in system integration and administration.
• Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively.
• Ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders in a multi-cultural environment.
