Job summary

Qatar Airways is seeking a Purchasing Administrator in Doha, DAW, QA. The role is on-site to support the inflight services procurement, ensuring timely orders and cost-effective material supply for the catering unit.

You will coordinate with suppliers, maintain accurate order data, monitor stock levels, and prepare forecasting reports to support operations and inventory control within the catering division.

Qualifications

• University qualification with at least 3 years of related experience.
• Experience in medium/large flight catering is preferred.
• Knowledge of ordering/buying processes.
• Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
• Strong Office suite skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation of purchase orders and ensure timely delivery.
• Coordinate with suppliers on order details, schedules and specs.
• Ensure accurate data entry in the order system for suppliers.
• Maintain records of purchases, pricing and data for audits.
• Monitor inventory levels and stock requirements.
• Visit stores regularly to review stock levels.
• Prepare forecasting reports for reordering.
