GulfDesign UAE in Al-Khor is seeking an experienced Indian Pastry Chef to lead our pastry kitchen. You will develop authentic Indian-inspired pastries, manage production, and ensure presentation aligns with our culinary standards.

This role requires creativity, strong food-safety knowledge, and the ability to train junior chefs, while coordinating inventory and meeting tight deadlines in a busy kitchen.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Pastry Chef with a focus on Indian cuisine.
• Creativity and passion for creating new flavors and designs.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong knowledge of food safety regulations.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Responsabilités

• Develop new pastry and dessert items that reflect the flavors and culture of India
• Ensure high quality standards are consistently met in terms of taste, presentation, and portion size
• Manage inventory levels and order supplies as needed to maintain a well-stocked kitchen
• Train and supervise junior pastry chefs, providing guidance on techniques and recipes
• Follow food safety guidelines to maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen environment
