Job summary

Qatar Airways is seeking an IFEC Quality Specialist in Doha to deliver detailed performance, usage, and SLA reports across fleets. You will monitor supplier dashboards, validate connectivity systems, and produce comprehensive monthly/quarterly analyses for management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree or equivalent required with minimum 4 years of job-related experience
• Strong analytical and reporting skills, with proficiency in Excel and Power Point
• Experience working with SLAs, dashboards, and supplier portals
• Knowledge of in-flight connectivity technologies and digital passenger platforms
• Excellent communication and cross-functional coordination abilities
• Attention to detail and problem-solving mindset
• Experience with IFEC systems within an airline or aviation context is preferred
• Familiarity with major IFEC suppliers such as Panasonic, Thales, Viasat, or SITAONAIR

Responsibilities

• Monitor performance portals and supplier dashboards daily to track service status and incidents across aircraft types
• Generate monthly and quarterly performance reports with detailed analysis of bandwidth, user trends, and uptime
• Create dashboards and automated reports to present IFEC quality performance and usage insights to management
• Conduct quality checks on IFEC portals, including Wi-Fi login flows and portal content
• Perform functional testing for new digital features and portal updates across aircraft configurations
• Collaborate with Aircraft Engineering to gather feedback and support maintenance actions
• Coordinate with suppliers on findings, timelines, and regular performance reviews
• Liaise with Cabin Crew and Customer Care on updates, refunds, and incidents
• Coordinate with Marketing for digital asset delivery and system configurations
• Review monthly invoices to ensure charges align with performance and usage
• Document issues, test results, change logs, and supplier communications for audits
• Stay informed on emerging IFEC technologies and potential integrations
• Contribute to continuous improvement and trials of new suppliers or service models
• Perform other duties as directed by Head of Department
