Job summary

Galfar Al Misnad Engineering and Contracting W.L.L. seeks an experienced Commissioning Manager to plan, coordinate, and execute all commissioning activities for hyperscale data center projects.

You will oversee Mechanical, Electrical, ELV, BMS, and IT infrastructure from design review through IST and client handover, ensuring adherence to standards and safety. The role requires 10–15 years of commissioning experience, with at least 5 years in mission-critical facilities or hyperscale data

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Building Services engineering or related discipline.
• 10–15 years of commissioning experience.
• 5+ years in mission-critical facilities or hyperscale data centers; direct experience with hyperscale clients is desirable.
• Certifications such as CxA, CCP, ATD, PMP, NFPA/ electrical safety training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the project Commissioning Strategy, Plan, and turnover roadmap aligned with milestones.
• Lead commissioning across MEP, ELV, BMS, and IT infrastructure from design review to handover.
• Review design documents, control philosophies, and sequences for reliability and compliance.
• Manage system readiness: QA/QC inspections, ITPs, pre-functional tests, and punch-lists.
• Oversee startup, IST, FPT, and validation including N+1 and 2N scenarios.
• Interface with clients, consultants, vendors, and operations for approvals and readiness reviews.
• Ensure complete commissioning documentation: test scripts/reports, O&M manuals, drawings, training records.
